About

Hi guy’s,

Writing about yourself is really hard so I’ll keep it brief.

I’m happily married to Chris and we have three son’s who are just awesome!

We live in sunny Australia, close to the beach, so all five of us are water babies.

I’m lucky enough to have a huge family and most of us enjoy boating, swimming, water skiing, wake boarding, crabbing, snorkeling and go kart racing together.

You’ve probably also guessed that my husband and I are very keen photographers and love nothing more than to pull on the back pack grab the camera and travel.

  3. Hi Janette,
I came across your magnificent pictures this morning while googling the small village of Arena in Calabria. My brilliant Pulmonary Physician was holidaying there about 2/52 ago, & sufferred a massive heart attack, sadly dying of complications.Only having just turned 60 years,& from Adelaide he was presumably visiting family there. The Aust. Army is bringing his body home, as he was also a Major in the Army & about to visit Afghanistan.
Your beautiful photos of this picturesque village brought me to tears, especially the shot on the hilltop looking into the distance.I also noted on one of the memorials the name of one his family from WW1- Scicchitano.
What a truly beautiful setting to leave this world.
On a brighter note my husband & I are travelling to Italy next year to stay with friends in Virgoletta, near Cinque Terre & Lucca, so am going to look @ your shots of them & others as well.

    Cheers Margie Begg

    • Hi Margie,

I’m very sorry to hear of your loss, and my dearest sympathy goes to the family that must still be in shock, how very sad..
Yes, Arena is a beautiful place, it’s a real shame that it’s so far from Australia… Best wishes for your Italian holiday next year, I hope you have a fabulous adventure.

      Take Care,
      Janette
