Arriving in Vernazza was a highlight of the trek,
it’s a busy town with many cafe’s and restaurants.
Keep an eye out for a great Gelato shop (Gelateria)
on the right hand side as you walk down
towards the harbour/marina.

Climing the medieval Doria Castello’s tower gives you the opportunity
to experience a magnificent view (below).

In Vernazza is this charming courtyard enhanced
by a secection of beautiful pot plants.

Fresh local produce for sale at Monterosso al Mare,
the most northern town of the Cinque Terre.
The region produces olives, white wine and lemons
(make sure you try the Limoncello/Lemoncello
an alcoholic beverage made from fresh Lemons
and an alcohol like strong vodka).

After hiking cinque Terre be sure to try the local birra
(beer) the Birra Peroni
was our favourite (look for the red label).
